Chiropractic
is a science, art, and philosophy that concerns itself with the
relationship between the nervous system and the function (health)
of the body.
To some people, Chiropractic
is a search for greater health and wholeness for themselves and
their families that goes beyond the treatment of symptoms. They
feel that health care should not be passively waiting until disease
strikes - but active health maintenance before problems arise.

Others already have
health problems and are unhappy with the prospect of taking powerful
prescription and over-the-counter drugs that often do little more
than treat symptoms while the cause of their problem remains.
And still others, tired of drugs and surgery, perhaps told to
"learn to live with it," are searching for "something
else."
In response to the
need for alternative medicine which focussed less on modern day
drugs to combat medical problems, Chiropractic has become the
largest non-medical healing art in Canada, indeed, in the world
today! Over 28 million North Americans a year see a Chiropractor,
and their numbers are growing.
In many ways,
chiropractic has retained its simplicity in spite of its success.
It continues to be a grass-roots movement, a true revolution in
health care.
