First Visit
First, after filling
out the initial forms, a comprehensive health and related history
will be taken.
Second, a thorough
spinal examination and analysis will be done consisting of spinal
posture evaluation, spinal ranges of motion, various orthopaedic
and chiropractic tests, Surface Electromyography (SEMG) and Thermography.
Third, you might be
asked to watch a short video on chiropractic.
In most cases, a series
of spinal x-rays will be taken to further evaluate your level
of spinal degeneration, if any.
This initial consultation
/ examination usually lasts approximately a half hour to one hour
and the x-ray procedure usually lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Second Visit
On your second visit,
a review of your results will be followed by your chiropractic
adjustment which is specific to your area of spinal subluxations.
The doctor will then prescribe particular excercises, stretches
or a series of things to do and/or avoid in your daily activities
and/or work. A treatment plan will then be described to you and
should be followed for maximum results.
